When a twenty-year-old man was shot dead yards from our studio, we were galvanised into making a poster of our own. It is stark, graphic and screen-printed. Its anti-gun message is unequivocal. 200 were fly-posted locally. If you’ve got something to say, one of the most immediate ways to say it is with a poster. The poster has always been associated with strong messages quickly conveyed. We think that in recent years, poster-making and good design have parted company.
